Carlene has been with us since 2018 as our Seniors Coordinator, Carlene has consistently demonstrated an incredible level of dedication, compassion, and heart in everything she does. Her work goes far beyond the role itself—she brings genuine care and connection to every interaction she has with the seniors in our community.
Carlene has a remarkable ability to support individuals through both joyful moments and challenging times. Whether she is connecting seniors to resources, offering guidance, or simply being a steady and caring presence, her kindness is always felt. She approaches her work with empathy, patience, and a deep respect for the people she serves.
Her passion for supporting seniors is evident in the relationships she builds and the trust she fosters. She truly embodies the spirit of FCSS through her commitment to enhancing the well-being of others and ensuring that seniors feel valued, supported, and heard.
Carlene’s contributions make a meaningful difference every day. In addition to her work with the community, Carlene is a joy to work with and a constant source of support within the office. Her willingness to lend a hand, share her knowledge, and contribute wherever needed makes her a great part of our team and I really enjoy working with her.

The Family and Community Support Services Association of Alberta (FCSSAA) was founded in 1981, as a member-driven organization dedicated to bringing Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) programs from across the province together. We provide the platform for our member programs to connect and collaborate, so they can maximize resources and speak with an informed, credible, unified voice to all stakeholders.
