How has your life experiences helped in your role?
My life experiences have given me opportunities that lead me through doors where I get to know many people from diverse backgrounds. Each one unique. Developing in me the confidence to help others with problem-solving, enabling them to better navigate challenges and increasing their resilience while connecting with others. I am thankful for the life experiences that I have graciously encountered along my journey.

Why did you get involved in this work?
My long-term career goal has always been to help make a difference in others lives. Senior Connections was a surprising yet so rewarding step along my journey of human service work and giving back to my community. What a privilege it is to serve seniors in Lloydminster and the friendships that have developed over the many years.

What have you learned in your role?
What I have learned in my role with Senior Connections is the greater magnitude of service. As I earn the right to walk with individual seniors seeking information and assistance to their needs and requests, I have been welcomed to participate within the greater senior community of Lloydminster. Such a joy and blessing!
